No. Why would it even be a possability?
You may well do a backflip and also end up with a hole in your head, or an eye missing. Try it and see.
why don't you try it and tell us?
I think not, but why not try it and see?

Warning: I suspect that the avocado seed would have to be moving so fast to have the required momentum, it would pass through your forehead and kill you.
No.

In zero gravity, possibly.
That's a bit technical for me Sunk. :-)
No, Sunk. Inertia plays a part in this.
what's an avocado seed? This is a nuts question or the person who asked it is stoned?
i dread to think what the busy doctor in casualty will say when you explain what happened . . .
well it would at least be more interesting than an avocado stone up the jacksie.....
Gravity v inertia.
Gravity on earth will win. After the force from you jumping up has dissipated gravity will push you down to Earth again. A sideways push from the seed will not have enough energy as gravity pushing down on you weight (body mass).

In space, gravity and weight and body mass and energy are all cocked up, so I wouldn’t like to predict what would happen in a space station.
Sunk, I'm not very clever but this is how I see it. If you're in space and think that there is no gravity because you feel weightless, you still have a mass which will keep you in the same place until a force obliges you to move. Your big mass will need a big force to make you move. A seed would be too feeble to give you a decent push. If you were in the space station and I flicked your cheek with a feather, you wouldn't suddenly whizz off.
We're the seed to be glued on the tip of an Exorcet missile.. I reckon you would do a quadruple backflip.
.. still doubt it would knock any sense into you?
Avocado seeds are quite big. One hitting you in the eye could do some damage.
Alava, I suspect the seed would punch a hole through your forehead and brain and out the other side before it managed to give your whole body mass a shove.
In space, if you spotted the seed just as it was about to hit you, and the shock made you fart expelling a gaseous force backwards, you would jolt forward and ‘head’ the seed back to the culprit with the catapult.
We must all be very bored. :-)
Why are we responding to this nonsense?
Atheist.. They don't have pigeons in space so where would you get a feather from?
Tilly; you tell me. You're the one who's expressing enough interest to flap your little thumb around the keypad.
Sunk; Arthur Mee'sChildrens' Encyclopedia - Candle fired from shotgun towards a stout wooden plank - candle pierces the plank neatly. Candle is pushed gently but firmly against the plank and candle slowly crushes. I never understood why that happens and I still can't explain it.
