I have a sound bar connected to my TV and a wireless subwoofer. The subwoofer has a power source,an on/off switch and a receiver aeriel. I've just noticed that there is no sound coming from the subwoofer. I would have thought that the subwoofer receiver would pick up sound from the sound bar and do magic things with it. Could any of you electronic chaps explain how it works.

Your subwoofer has to be paired with your soundbar, similar to bluetooth pairing. Are there no installation instructions with the soundbar/subwoofer ?? Should be some info in there. Hope this helps

Yes you should've able to hear sound from the subwoofer, you may have to increase the volume of the subwoofer on the remote.
Is it switched on?
