Hot Water.

This morning, for no apparent reason, the control panel of my hot water/ heating system started to buzz.An alarm of some sort, I presume.
The hot water is on a timer.When I turned the hot water off,it stopped.
It is a Bosch boiler and the control panel is Honeywell.
Anyone any idea what might be wrong?

Speaker type buzz or just a general buzzing ? Transformers have been known to buzz sometimes.

Not sure what you mean,OG.It has never happened before. There is definitely something wrong!
The control panel is in the kitchen and the boiler is 4 metres away.
