Husband got letter from the DWP to inform him of his new rate of State Pension. Reading the accompanying leaflet I found he was meant to inform them of any changes in circumstances including getting married.
We got married 18 months ago. I am not of pension age.
Would he get into trouble for not telling DWP sooner, and would his pension go up or down?
The gov.uk website is quite confusing on this.

Phone them and ask, but whatever you do, dont just leave it.
I don't know but as you are not of pensionable age I would be very surprised if it would make any difference to his pension cj.

Ok, thank you both.
I’ll contact them soon. Don’t want to get a fine, or worse.
