Hi I wonder if anyone out there can help with this. Our address is not on the internet list for delivery purchases.
Only part of it is we are in a small area of 7houses within about a mile radius. Each house has a name and area name. Our house is not listed how can we get this rectified. Anyone out there help please. Anyone know how to contact the post office about addresses. Fed up of parcels not being delivered to my address.

For deliveries in the meantime, if there's a box for additional info then add a brief route from the nearest named road to your home.

Thanks mamyalynne we have been here since we built this house in 1982. Never was a problem but now with the internet shopping it is a nightmare. We are 3 miles from a town. I do change address on ones that I can and still deliver wrongly. Waiting for parcel today and got message parcel delivered and signed for by customer ?????. I am still waiting. House name and our name is on end of drive. Problem being one awkward neighbour who will not pass on if delivered to him. He phones up and gets courier to uplift it.
It's not the "post office" you want...It's Royal Mail. Could you get to your local delivery office and speak (in person) to the Manager?
I've done this in the past and it worked a treat.
That's a darn nuisance, I wish all delivery companies would allow you to pass on a phone number to the driver as supermarkets do.

That way if they can't locate you they can call for directions.
'Click and Collect' might be a good idea. Then you can collect your delivery at your own behest.
....aren't at least some of these deliveries going to be made by delivery services other than Royal Mail?

Yes but they all use Royal Mail's database of postal addresses. It's the only one there is!

Thanks for all replies have filled in a Royal Mail form so will see what happens. It has been very frustrating lately and yes it is more other couriers rather than Royal Mail. Postmen all know whose who in the few houses there are. Always one eh?
