that is going to vary a lot depending on where you are in the country, what facilities there are in the housing and so on...also whatdo you mean by sheltered housing?
I live in council sheltered housing, my rent is approx £85 a week and on top of that is the communal charges of approx £20 a week. This does not include utility bills!

do u have your room kitchen sitting room
henry....it's not quite as simple as that as far as costs go. It depends a lot on what (if any) benefits you receive. The cost could be significantly more than that stated above....or a whole lot less....depending on your personal financial situation.
that's true (or may be) if its council accommodation, we have got a lot of private housing trust type round here, included lease type stock where you purchase the lease and then pay a communal charge for the care aspect and building upkeep on top. There really is not an answer.
As above it's not straightforward delending where you live and who the landlord is. My friend pays £125 per week but that includes gas electric. there is a communal laundry and meeting room. The flat has bed, shower room, lounge / kitchen.
@yrneh1938 Ive got a lovely one bed flat with my own front door and private patio. Im in a block of four flats and there is a main door leading to the residents front doors. Theres a communal lounge with kitchen which holds several social events each week. Theres also a laundry room and communal gardens. Theres also a community alarm in the flat in case of emergencies.
