I am sponsoring a non -eu family member on a visitor visa. I can't find it now (as it all seems to pages about students and employer sponsors) , but i read a valid driving licence or valid passport is fine for my ID proof.( repeat proof of sponor Id is the question here - not the visitor) However,a friend of mine insists it has to be a valid passport .Can someone clarify ,as my passport has expired and i am sure my drving licence will be sufficient category A proof
