Hi, I use a Mac and this morning it has decided to speak to me and I am getting text boxes. Anyone have any idea how to shut it up?

Go to System Preferences>Accessibility>VoiceOver> and uncheck "Enable VoiceOver."

Depending upon your system setup you may also be able to use the (⌘F5), or (option/⌘/F5) keyboard shortcut to toggle it on/off.
