How fast can I discharge a battery without damaging it or overheating it?
What maximum current can I draw from it?
I suppose it depends on the model, but
any info would be appreciated, whether it's alkaline or rechargable ....
Are there batteries that I can fully discharge in 10 minutes?

Just wondering whether there could be an electic means of transport that could have just enough autonomy to take me to the tube.
To answer my question, I found a battery for RC models that is meant to discharge in 5 minutes.
Still no idea about standard batteries such as NiMH AA .
