I did prepare a proper answer to this, but as you prefer jokes, I won't bother to post it.

daftgrandad, I have to disagree. It's made of Wensleydale my old mate Wallace has been there for his holidays and I've seen his holiday photos.

My answer was proper.
When ever I look up at it it's usually white but it keeps changing it's shape.
I'd say it's fairly dark grey given the albedo of 0.12, reflecting back approx 12% of light.
Polar bears however, I am reliably informed, are black.
