I did, a small, leather bound one, with coloured pages. I was about ten, and all my old aunties and uncles spent boxing day writing things in.
My daughter brought me a little book today, and asked me to write something.
i could remember some of the little rhymes and wondered if anyone knew any more. Some samples to follow...

My mother had one. On the first page was written:

"By hook or by crook, I'll be first in your book."
Funny you should mention this crisgal, my son went to his first football match last week and wanted a pad to get some autographs.

When I told him about the ones we had when we were kids and aunties and uncles used to sign he thought I was joking

And the one you said about if all the boys lived over the sea, I remember an aunt writing that in my sisters book.
