IE won't load hotmail page.

IE will not load the hotmail sign in page for some reason. What could be causing this? There are ten computers on the network and this is only happening on two of them. The PC is running Windows Vista Business.

It seems to be the same for yahoo etc. Perhaps someone changed a setting for secure login sites. Can it be changed back?

Do you have an IT section? Have they blocked it for a reason?

We used to block hotmail/gmail as people were spending more time on them than working

A lot people the computers so things arise at times. How do I check if it has been blocked and unblock it?

We used something called group policy but I wouldn't advise messing with it if you are not 100% certain about what you are doing. If the IT section has blocked it, you will need to contact them, as it may be a decision from management.

No squarebear, there is no IT dept. The computers are used by many people and things like this happen, probably through people messing about. I ran malware checks on both but nothing showed up.

I assume it is something to do with firewalls or someone has blocked something inadvertantly.
