another hot sticky night here...dogs (and me) very restless. happily we seem to be forecast rain and cooler temperatures next week.
Morning All. Back to town to have a look round Per Una again. A slow one today....see yer later'gater(s)
Morning all
Hope you are all ok today.
It was bright ,hot and sunny but the sea fog has rolled in now which would be ideal for our Woofy !
It's not boiling hot here at night .I have the windows open for the sea breeze and it's just comfortable. The only downside are the screaming gulls at silly o'clock.
Morning all - another lovely sunny day but still 27 here although the Met office reckon it's 23. Was out there early gardening, no hard stuff, just deadheading.

Our bedroom is north facing and has small windows, so not hot at all. However, I must admit to flinging the bedclothes back last night. Shaney gets screaming gulls, we get jackdaws shouting at each other!! No sea breezes for us though unfortunately.

We tend to catch the edge of the sea mists quite often, but not so far this week.
we get screaming gulls, jackdaws AND hot weather, does that mean I win lol?

oooph...I hope you're all suitably dressed for the climate. I've just been outside on the front to do an emergency snipping so I can go in and out of the door. It's a tad warm already and someone stopped to have a chat so I'll have a nice vest shaped white bit later on.
I'd been sleeping well but last night seemed so much hotter. If I'd spent the dreary wet days preparing the north wing for such an eventuality I'd have somewhere cooler...instead I kept closing the door on the clutter that's built up. It's not worth rushing to sort it now, in a weeks time it'll be back to cool/crip.

I get crows/rooks bonking on the tv ariel at 4am or digging out the guttering.
Morning all (or not) I win, I get screaming cats, barking dogs, crickets, and little ibicenco neighbours who have the most incredibly annoying high piutched voices, it's from when they used to call from mountain to mountain not so long ago!!

I have arthritis in my toes, as I think one of you suggested, my broken toe has gone rigid, and I now have medicine to build up calcium. When i said I wasn't taking the painkillers he said it was like a little fire and if caught early a glass of water would put it out, but if ignored would grow into an inferno, so I have to take these painkillers as soon at the toes hurt and to stop when they do not hurt. This calcium stuff is 3 months on and 1 month off.
So unbearable here today I thought I was going to faint 3 times in the village but luckily I went into an air conned shop and it was ok. On Wed in a charity shop( where I rarely go) I saw a beautiful summer dress and long sleeved blouson top for 5€ but didn't have any money, and of course they do not reserve them and today they had gone I am furious, they were so me!

So have bought the crimson/scarlet nail varnish to cheer me up, do not much like this orange shiny one!
Neti, I can't take my arthritis tablets any more because of my other problems :o(. All I can take is paracetamol these days. I am meant to take calcium, but I don't. My next bone scan is due 2014 and I shall be told off.
Thanks for having me Robinia
Here's a cyber gift for you .... :)
