my daughter's neighbour told her he has SAS binos that can see through walls.
Yes I know it sounds ridiculous, but I cant stop worrying that there is such a thing, neither can she.
Common sense says, don't be silly.
But if you saw him .....
Help please.

If it sounds totally ridiculous, it probably is!
only through the walls on a greenhouse
he is talking sh1 te
Utter and compleat total b*llocks . It is impossible . He sounds like a right perve trying to scare her , report him to the police.
Why would her neighbour tell her that? Does he wish he could spy on her? Sounds like he's trying to spook her and has succeeded, give him a very wide berth.

But not before you tell him you have seen what he gets up to on his computer after you accidentally logged onto his wifi instead of your daughters the other day!
Absolute cobblers. Reminds me of the time C.B. Radio began and gullible people believed they could be identified just by listening to other people's conversations. Light can be reflected or refracted as through glass. Thats it.

Thanks, I thought as much, but you can imagine it scared us.

Yes, perve indeed.
The lady the other side had given him a key for emergencies, only she kept finding her drawers in bedroom had been tidied.
From when I first set eyes on him, I warned her off.
Brill maidup, will use that one.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology HAS recently developed technology which can 'see through walls':

The US Army hopes to have its elite forces equipped with handheld devices, based upon that system, by the end of the year. However, as yet, no such equipment is available to anyone.

Chris
Never trust a man with sideburns like that.

Dooooooon't
Researchers at the Lincoln lab at MIT in America have created a system to see through walls, but it's based on a micro wave system because light cannot penetrate solid objects. The equipment is big enough to require a truck and all you can see on a screen are moving blobs. If there were binoculars capable of seeing though walls I don't think MIT would be experimenting with micro waves.
Whoops, Chris has got there before me, I really must attend those typing classes.
Encourage your daughter to explain to him that the lead paint on her walls preclude vision.
Then have a quiet word with the local police.

If it wasn't my flesh and blood involved, I would see the funny side.
Word pic for you...
fat lazy sod
leccy wheelchair on drive....
screams look, I am harmless, in a wheelchair
then he plays with 6 year old of the lady who gave him key (and has since asked for it back)
sits most of the day on drive, in chair, if weather ok
maybe I am a tad paranoid.
Question Author
Coming from another angle... sex register.... is that just for police to see, or is it public?
I know I am being silly. just scared for my lass.
Sorry, but this screams nutter alert. Probably totally harmless but I wouldn't be happy about it (but I have developed a less-trusting nature over recent years).
Think I would have to have a chat about him at the local cop shop.Bit scary. They may already be aware of him.
I think you can be assured that we're all hearing the same alarms from this nutter as you are and you are neither silly nor paranoid. Be alert for your girl and do what you can to make sure she pays no attention to him (or his helplessness)

Phew, thank you all so much, was prepared for stocks and rotten tomatoes, but you just listened.
Thanks.
Has this man actually done or said anything that would make you suspicious of him? Surely anyone would know that the "SAS binos that can see through walls" was a joke. It seems he has been convicted, quartered and buried already.

Many wheelchair bound people like to sit in front of their house so they can see things coming and going. If you are really worried you should have contacted the police by now.
