My condenser dryer has stopped working. Initially, it blew a 13Amp fuse, but when I replaced the fuse, it came up with Error Code E20 - and that's it, nothing else.

I am actually a qualified electrical engineer, but I am recovering from a skiing accident and I am unable (not allowed!) to pull the damn machine from it's cubby hole.

I have priced various likely components that may be at fault, and come to the conclusion that it is maybe time to replace the machine.

Does anyone know what E20 indicates?

There's loads of stuff in this link about error code E20 related to Zanussi Condenser Dryers here.

Doesn't relate to your model but my guess is that Zanussi use this code generically.
Most of it seems to suggest it happens when an overheat is detected and that generally happens when there's fluff stuck somewhere inside it.
Maybe you can get away with an easy repair without having to get your multimeter out.
