A question about modern items not working as well as older things was posted on here within the last 30 minutes. I replied and have since gone back to see if there were any other answers.

The thread has vanished!

There was nothing offensive in the question so why has it been removed?

Either the questioner has been banned (for inappropriate activity elsewhere) or the Ed has removed the thread because it had degenerated to unacceptable content.

It was a simple question that I can not imagine generating anything warranting removal.
There was one other reply apart from mine.
Believe poster may have been vulcan42 - or that may have been the other replier.

These are the mysteries of Answerbank. I have tried questioning people getting banned and all posts ever removed in one dramatic swoop but did not get any kind of answer or explanation.
