Not embedding youtube videos?

There have been a couple of times in the past when I have posted links to youtube videos but deliberately not used the dedicated box for them so that I could post a warning about their contents and anybody who did want to see them would need to click on the links to go to the youtube website. The videos were not that bad but I thought that they might not be to everyone's taste.

How can a link to a youtube video now be posted without the video being embedded in the posting?

Taking the HTTP:// from the front of the URL should do it, then people will have to copy and paste the link to use it.
