What would the approximate cost of tiling (without materials) a 3 sqm bathroom? Half tiled wall all the way round. And what would the additonal cost be for a floor? I cannot get hold of a tiler to get a quote to see if it is viable - they are very elusive!

You say half tiled wall all the way round, but how high up would this be? Different bathrooms have different height ceilings. If you let me know i will ask my bloke cos he is a tiler!

Fantastic and thank you! About 1.2 metres at a guess! One wall has bath half way across and other has loo and sink, so that would reduce the tiling area.
hi, sorry, this won't be a very helpful answer. He said that it's hard to say without seeing it because there are so many depending factors...so for someone to give an accurate quote they'd have to see it really. It depends on if the tiles are small or large - small ones would bump the price up as there's more of them to put up. It depends if there is a window to go round, whether the toilet and sink have been taken out..all the bits that would make it more fiddly would add to the price. He said a lot of people price it on time taken so more fiddly bits means a higher price. Sorry we couldn't even give you a rough guess. :-(
