Wheelie bin etiquette!

Some if not most of you will think it silly, but I am getting fed up with my neighbour sticking their rubbish in my wheelie bin after it it put out on collection day,

There are only two of them in their house, but they fill their wheelie bin and then dump the rest in our, already full bin.

As I leave for work, their bin is in the way of my car, overflowing with rubbish and what they can't get in theirs is in mine.

Perhaps I wouldn't mind so much if they were actually vaguely friendly?

it would be polite to at least ask you! i don;t mind y neighbout using mine but then i offered
Why not suggest they ask for a larger bin....or an extra one. Our council provides them free of charge, the large family across from me has 2 bins.

The bin is left where the bin men collect it and they seem to wait until we have put ours out.

We haven't spoken since they moved in. Both me and my husband work for the landlords which causes it's own problems so we try to keep ourselves to ourselves.
having lived next to a scank who thought itd be easier to dump her rubbish sacks in her back garden and shed for a year (full of stinking nappies) rather than worrying about wheelie bins i have to say let them get on with it.
yeuch red.............I'd have torched the shed.

oh red, can you say scank on ab ?

yes vibes?
looks like i can, anne lol

she was grim though, honestly, that was one of the least worrying things about her. when the council gave her notice to clear her garden she dumped it in the field at back of our houses instead. She had locked the shed so they werent even aware of what was in there.
do you keep in touch with her red ? lol

Can I confess now that I took their rubbish out and put it next to their bin, so that the lid would shut on our bin and they would take it? The bag was still there when I went home at lunch time...................My husband said that they did it last week, but he didn't tell me!

You can buy a lock for your wheelie bin

Though once you have left for work it may be a bit pointless if they wait until you've gone to shove their crud in your bin .
I'd feed it back through their letterbox bit by bit :) Cheeky B's .
ah, well if it was making your bin sit open, HJT then i certainly agree with you on the removing of it, the binmen around here would not have touched it.
