I have an oil on canvas Arthur J Elsely painting that I cant seem to find anywhere on the internet, it is set in what looks like a garden with a wall and gate behind. Six children and a collie and one of the little boys is holding what seems to be a fishing rod and a piece of string that is also being held by another little girl. the collie is at the front to the left and another girl is holding on to the gate latch. I was wondering what the painting was called? if its an original? and how much it is worth? the frame is gold gilt and the name on the back of the canvas is higgins and bowen tower bridge road London.

From your description the picture would appear to be called 'Home Team' painted c1903. See the sixth image on the following link:

There are also many other dealers selling copies; also one on eBay! Probably not an original.
