just keep watering every day when there's no rain, sometimes it takes a while for the seed to germinate, when it rains, then it will probably take off, and after that, you can patch any gaps that are a bit bare.............................

i have been watering for the last two weeks, sprinkler has been on all day every day, and then i have been going over it with hose, and still not grown much. is there such thing as overwatering, i dont think i have done that. thanks welsh
Was the turf pressed down with a roller or other heavy object? If the turf was not pressed into good contact with the underlying soil, not much is going to happen.
I was just going to say that dr b.

yep,it was pressed down and it is stuck to the ground, so i can see it has germinated, but not growing much!
It will grow suzie, we are going to have rain in the next few days, and then it should happen!.......Sometimes these things take a little longer than we except!..............The coming rain will help!........You may need to seed the gaps afterwards though, but just wait and see!...........
Think of all the time by not mowing you`ve had to do other things, but it sounds to me as if you`ve been watering too much, just try to not let it dry out completely, if grass or any thing thinks it`s going to die (if it could think) it will try a little harder to seed. Too much TLC suzie1.
