we have a sloping ceiling in our bedroom that used to have polystyrene tiles on it, from the previouse occupant anyway we now have a dreadfull mess where they were glued..we dont wish to wallpaper the ceiling as i have fears of the wallpaper dropping down in the night as my husband sometimes does decorating rather like frank spencer,,so i wondered if anyone knew of anything simple we could do to cover the marks where the tiles were thanks in advance...

If you don't wish to wallpaper or artex the ceiling, it may be best to get a plasterer to skim over it before painting. We had this done when we moved into our house & it looked great after. Good luck.
