repairing kitchen draw

the facia panel of our knife drawer (yrs old and no longer available) has come away from the plastic carcass and is beyond repair. is it possible to get a std type drawer carcass i could then attach the facia panel to?

Try super glue.

it's the knife draw and carries a lot of weight plus the plastic shim has broken in 2 different places
It's a fairly easy repair .... dispose of the old drawer runners and just keep the drawer front.
Get one of these kits...

Make up a new base and sides from white conti board available from most DIY stores.
Attach the old front to the new base using 3/4'' screws ...
... you may as well fit a drawer damper at the same time...they are only a couple of quid...your new drawer will glide across the runners and close softly...it will be your favourite part of your kitchen..!
