Has anyone got one of these? Bearing in mind that replacement bags for Henry's are cheap, is it worth the bother of getting one of these and having to empty and wash it?

(Hope this works).

I dunno, after you wash it you'd have to be 100% sure it had dried as the first time you use it it would clog up with damp housedust.
I love my Hetty.....same as a Henry but pink with long eyelashes.......my cleaner is so impressed with her she's going to buy one herself......I'm not sure I'd bother 'cos you can use the disposable ones more than once if you're careful.

I suppose you could buy two, dot. Then the second one could have loads of time to dry out. The paper bags are so cheap though.

Hiya craft. How do you manage to reuse the disposables?
Question Author
I'm surprised at how cheap the replacement bags are. You can get them off eBay for less than 50p each. Great value.
don't know chappie but the cleaner has......I've had it since last July and she's always cleaning up dog hairs.....she's still using the first bag!!

Fantastic craft. A woman after my own heart. Is she a Yorkshire lass by any chance?

I've had my Henry for at least 2 years. Last week I was moaning to Mr. Chappie that it wasn't a good sucker. He told me that I was using the upholstery attachment to vacuum the carpet.

The bu88er could've told me before. [:o(
Question Author
The bag could well go sticky if you don't dry it thoroughly before re-use, nono. Yes indeed it could.
I got mine when I got rid of all my carpets..........it's the best one I've found for wooden floors. Only thing is that when the dog decides to go for a wander during the night the click click click wakes you up.......

Thanks EDDIE. That blaggard off eBay is trying to con me out of six quid then. He's advertising the things as washable.

I didn't know you got one with the cleaners now. Hey EDDIE, you don't work for the company do you?
Eddie....I couldn't give a toss.....as long as the house is clean and my cleaner is happy so am I........and it does actually say in the booklet that came with my Hetty that if care is taken the bags can be re-used.
Question Author
Hey ED, where do you buy the bags from at 20p each?
