Microwave combination oven

I`ve bought a micro combi. It has a rack for grill/oven cooking but I `d like to know what sort of dish I use to grill things like fish fingers, sausages etc ? Do I put the food on the rack or in a dish ?? TIA

When using it as an oven use a metal baking tray, non-stick if you prefer. When using it as a grill, also use a metal baking tray, but don't use non-stick, as the direct grill heat can damage the non-stick surface. For microwave cooking, you can use anything designed for microwave cookers, including ceramic plates labelled 'safe for microwave use'. There...

The circular rack has to be used when using the grill & oven. I`ve not answered my own question as I would not put a joint of meat straight on the rack if roasting it.

Thnx anyway. I KNOW what do do re roasts that`s why there was no mention.
