Hi my toilet cistern has just packed up! It will not flush lost its Vacuum? with kids in the house I need to fix it fast!

Sounds as if the diaphragm`s packed in. Not a big job to fix if you`re at all into DIY but NOT calling in a plumber may not be an option, so it may prove expensive.

Just a bl**dy nuisance when it happens once every blue moon.

In the meantime use a bucket of water to flush any waste away.
