broken mirror on 7.5 tonne hire lorry

Iv got to take this hire vehicle back on thursday,iv hit a lamp post and now have the top part of the mirror hanging off from the arm, the plastic has torn and it really needs a new mirror,its a two part mirror with the bottom part fine,but is there and super srong glue or anything that i can bodge it with so i dont have to pay fortunes and in which i may get away with it when taking back to hire company?

Hi, from experience of the Truck hire comps, they WILL check the lorry over & they will see the damage, do you have a HGV wreckers yard near you? check yellow pages, EBay, there is a site I use called 247 parts UK, give them your details they will do the rest, I take it the mirror is convex & heated? you are talking in the region of �60 >>+ Fitting 20mins.

repair if fully, dont bodge it, or they will charge you an extortionate amount. Itll be much cheaper to get fixed yourself.
