On a concrete floor it doesn't matter.
On floorboards, lay them the same as the floorboards.  This means that all the new pieces of laminate are supported by the joists below the floorboards.

Do you mean which way in relationship to the window?  If that is the case, they should be laid at right angles to the wall with the window.  I believe that this is to avoid shadows caused by any small gaps between the boards.
