Hi, I posted on here a couple of days ago about a grime line stain on the white collar of hubby's red rugby shirt.... well, i've tried rubbing the collar with fairy liquid and then soaking it for ages in vanish oxy-action and then washing it with my normal washing tablets and one of those fabric whitener sachets (I've done this twice)...the grime line has faded slightly but is still there. The garment is 100% cotton. Has anybody got any other ideas for getting rid of this grime line completeley? Any help please! Thanks :)

Hi Kaz,

Have you tried soaking in Soda Crystals?

L. :)
Try some Ace laundry bleach. You can buy in in any supermarket.

Thankyou for your replies! I will certainly try the Ace laundry stuff, thanks again! :)
If you're soaking it though only put the collar in the solution. I wouldn't put the whole shirt in if it's red!
