I have recently purchased an Indesit P1640ABK 4 burner gas hob and a FIE 56BBK S electric oven and am unhappy with both! We always make gravy in the meat pan but the grid support I think they call it, is so slippy the pan slides off if you dont hold it firmly. The same thing happens when stirring pans with a small amount of liquid in. I am sure the oven temperature is way too high on both fan and standard use as I have baked cakes and puddings for years with no problems, but since getting the new oven it is very much a case of hit or miss with the results. We also have problems with the Sunday roast.I have tried baking at a much lower temp. without success. Cakes are cooked on top but undercooked when you cut into them. Also I have noticed when I bake small cakes in cake cases there are tiny black spots on top of cake and also on bottom of cakes inside the papers ,but no sign of the spots through the cake. I AM BAFFLED AS TO WHAT IS GOING ON! We have e-mailed Indeset who said they are not aware of any problems. Anyone having same problems or any suggestions. Thank you. Zoo Lady
