My dog was left in the kitchen and has scratched the pine door, is there any way of getting the marks out.

Only by (power) sanding down the surface of the door so it removes enough surface material to reduce the level below the level of the deepest scratch.
A scratch, afterall, is nothing more than a gouge removed from the wood.
You can buy a wax stick and then polish
over the top ..but this is only really for
scratches not deep gouges .
If it's an indent rather than a gouge you could sand the finish off and wet the damaged area. This should raise the grain enough to sand smooth and re-finish. Best to take door off.
