We saw some carpet tiles in B&Q that we thought were suitable for our small bedroom/office, however we are unsure about laying them and there were no instructions.
Do they need an underlay and if so what sort? How do you lay them, are they stuck down or what?

We laid some last year, they were laid onto a quarry tiled floor, we didn't use underlay, or glue them down, they were easy to cut and shape where necessary, and as long as you don't leave any gaps they don't move at all even when vacuumed, they're great....................hope this helps............welsh

As long as the surface they are to be laid on is even then they do not require underlay or sticking. The advantage of carpet tiles is that if any damage occurs then it is easy to replace one but not if they are stuck down. When the time comes to replace them you will glad you did not stick them down!!!! Easy to lay,cut and shape.
