hoover washing machine not dispensing conditioner

My 2 year old Hoover HSPF157 has suddenly got a mind of it's own. It decides what programme to wash on - if I put it on a delicate wash it might wash at a 60 pre-wash (not the best of ideas for woolens!) It's now not dispensing conditioner during the wash cycle. I have to put it onto a rinse programme and flush the conditioner through myself. Would this be a problem with the mother board? Would it be worth having it fixed? Any ideas much appreciated. Thanks
