how do you get your house name changed ours on the electrol role is not spelt correctly only 1 letter wrong a c instead of a k but it caused awful problems when my son was trying to buy a house and was trying to get a mortgage

I think the banks are looking for discrepances in the forms we fill out. I noticed this when filling out a form for my wife but instead of spelling lillian i spelt lilian and one had the impression that MI5 were taking up the case. To check for identity theft I suppose.

Every year we receive an electorial roll from the council as I assume most householders do. You could amend your house name on this I presume if you asked the council for this form?
