Oven cleaning....

I was cleaning the top oven & grill today, but ran out of the usual Mr. Muscle. I ended up using some B&Q - BBQ spray which was absolutely brilliant.

Just wondered what you would recommend for oven cleaning, apart from a maid?!

Fairy Power Spray , not stinky like Mr. M and does a brilliant job
even on bbq's .

Soda crystals. You can get them from supermarkets for about 70p. Mix them water as per instructions, & they clean almost anything.

Oven Pride from Sainsbury`s, Tesco etc. No effort and brilliant results.

Cillit Bang degreaser variety - works just as well as aerosol oven cleaners and doesn't leave the smelly residue.

I agree with Elly D Oven Pride I should be on commision I have sung its praises so often.

A maid's preferable, followed by your partner if you have one, and failing that - Oven Pride!

My daughter said she uses Cif Fume Free trigger spray, so along with all your suggestions, I now have plenty to choose from. Thanks again.

P.S. The BBQ cleaner I used wasn't a B&Q one, it was a good old Wilkinson's one - although it was a bit smelly!
