Hi there. I would like to get internet at home but at present I have no phone line installed. As I detest BT with a passion, I was hoping I could somehow get internet access without having to pay BT 124.99 for an initial line installation. Does anybody know who else can connect a phone line solely for web access?

I don't want to use a home phone either. Just the internet.

As far as I know the only way other than telephone wire to connect to tinternet is via cable tv, in which case it's now Virgin.

Hi Champagne
I an not too keen on BT either.
I have used Virgin or rather Telewest as it was called for ten years now.
By the way, whatever they quote you for a price, bring them down. It can be done, as they will not want to lose business.
