we have two cats that are always out. when they get fleas
we manage to get rid of them using some expensive drops from the local vets.
But recently i'v been finding fleas around the home jumping on me when the cats are not aroun. i thought fleas can only live on hair.
my question is, can anyone recommend anything to get rid of fleas from around the home. many thanx for any solutions to this frustrating problem.

sorry i see my question may of already been answered,
you still can give me your advice though, many thanks
I have answered this many times on here, you really need to get it treated professionally to avoid wasting time and money on DIY products that do not work!!

Just an add on fleas lay their eggs in the carpet also years ago my daughter lodged in a house where they had persian cats about a week after she came back home we had fleas in the house we had no pets ,so it looks like they can also be transported from place to place.
Its not easy to get rid of them but if you go to your Vets they should have a house spray especially for this problem but be aware one spray does not get rid of them you may need to use it several times as the flea eggs lie dormant for a while. Make sure you treat the furniture as well as the carpets.
