I have a sloping drive, and at the bottom near the front door the prev owner had a channel to let water run along to a drain, this is all covered by galvanized slotted grating,Problem is my missus keeps getting her heels stuck in the grating.
Is it possible to get a solid section please..thanks all.

No, because the drain is there to stop the water flooding down the drive into your front door. I think your missus would do better to learn to step over the drain. If she needs convincing, look at the TV coverage of the floods in Sheffield etc.
why not take the grate out, bolt a section of smooth metal on it where your mrs walks and refit it. you would still get the rest of the grate still drainning and emelda marcos wouldn't mulla her shoes.
Get your wife to wear sensible shoes or use the back door.
