Am thinking of giving my new house a name...(no, not like 'Dave') and yes, it can be tacky but wanted something rather nice anyway. My house is a semi detached new build in the corner position of a quiet culdesac. No obvious history to area other than previously a naval college used to stand here and later on became an art school.

So far I quite fancy something like Honeybrook, but my sister said it sounds like a Tina Turner song!

Any ideas anyone....? Please?

What's wrong with 'Dave'? Are you a davist?

What about 'Seaview' or 'The Grange'?
How about Llatidos?
You think it sounds Welsh? reverse the letters!
Ha! My house is called LLamedos. :)
My uncle has called his house 'The Shambles'.
How about...

Witheybrook
Witheymeadow
Artleigh
There is a house close to us called 'Fir Kew Hall'

Lol, some amusing ones there methinks! Artleigh is quite good, although still looking for ideas. God help me if I ever have kids as this naming malarkey is harder than I thought!.
how about "The Drawbridge", then you've a combination of the art school and the naval college!!!
