pair of blackbirds

could any one tell me why a pair of blackbirds are both taking all my pyracantha orange berries the tree has been there for three years and what they could be doing with all the berries , they are flying directly from a tree in the distance that i think they are building a nest beetween them, i would be very interested if any one has the answer.

They're probably eating them....i have a massive cottoneaster at work which was loaded with berries....a couple of blackbirds have stripped every berry off it in a couple of weeks !!!
eating them! Birds of the thrush family in particular love them.
