Help!! We're decorating the lounge at the moment and although we're using satinwood paint on the woodwork rather than gloss the smell is still really bad and giving me a headache. Anyone got any bright ideas? Thanks

Hi Picklepants,

Put a few drops of your favourite perfume in your paint, this will remove the smell.

Regards
It masks the smell - headache will still be there. It's the solvent in the paint evaporating that causes the headaches and it takes time to dissipate. Open the windows is about the only way.
I've heard that you should cut a couple of onions in half and leave around the room, it absorbs the smell apparently
I agree with Penny. Cut up onions. They really do absorb the smell!
Try opening the windows - simple and cheap (as long as you turn the heating off)
