central heating boiler

the pilot light wont stay on or ignite the main gas burner which is built behind the radiator,any ideas coz its b;oody freezin,thx in advance

Need much more info to give any kind of help. About the boiler, pilot, ignition system. Can you get to the gas valve
and pilot area, because of the radiator ????

thx puddintane,i just cleaned the ignition with a toothbrush,works a treat now

Try not to have your problems in the evenings or weekends.
Gasman only works days.

Sounds like the thermo-coupler has burnt out and needs replacing. Should only cost you the price of a call out and the new thermo-coupler 55-65 pounds approx.
