Hello, I have a Servis M7150W Fridge. It does not have a freezer compartment. The element has frosted over so I have a huge mound of frost at the back of the fridge. Is there a safe/quick way of getting rid of this frost build up without turning the fridge off and waiting for it to defrost???

Thanks

Turn the fridge off to stop it from keeping trying to freeze while you defrost it.
Be very careful and you could try directing hot air from a hair dryer onto the ice to melt it quicker. Do not let water and electrics mix.......could be fatal.
I can't help but think that you may have a thermostat problem because fridges don't normally ice up.
just turn your fridge up so there is no need to defrost, the hairdryer in the fridge idea is a little dangerous !

I use the hose on my steam wallpaper stripper to defrost my freezer. Does the job quick.
