Just moved in to a new house this weekend and some of the kitchen cupboards had mould inside them. Cleaned this all off and every trace of it has gone but they still really smell of mould - its horrible. Does anyone know of anyway I can get rid of this smell and stop it and the mould coming back? Any ideas much appreciated. Thank you.

small bowl of baking powder should absorb the smell
Also a good wipe down with Milton might help

Thanks ugly_bob, I'll try the baking powder idea.

lady_p_gold - what's Milton? I've not heard of that.
And a wash out with white vinegar will also clear the old smell away
milton is the stuff you use for sterilising baby bottles. That or the baking powder should work
