Since our previous attemptsto re-string a rotary washing line nearly ended in divorce, I'm not the best person to advise you. It is not as easy as it looks. Short of borrowing another one to copy exactly how it is threaded and secured at various points to stop the lines sagging, it may save domestic tempers to buy a new one.

Thank you WendyS.

Mr coggles has just told me he posted this question...

What he didn't say was that he was very tired after a long day at work, came home, took the rotary line out, and mowed the lawn.

I was cross at first when I saw the state of the line, but he did such a good job of the garden I have forgiven him! He managed to re-string it on his own and it works fine again now.

I will however, ask him to post questions using his own username in future, especially if he is going to spell things wrong!

It's a good job he is good at other things ; )
