I have tried so many different products to get stains (mostly food) out of my preschooler's pale clothes. Please tell me what really works?

I use ariel liquid and on really bad stain use a pre-wash. The best thing for getting orange juice stains out of clothes though is to hang them out in the sun.
Hanging out in the sun also removes stains from tomato based products - e.g. pasta sauce, spag bol, pizza topping.
Scrub it with vanish soap, leave to sit for a couple of hours then bung it in the washing machine
I agree with Chazza - Vanish soap has been my saviour for years. Never a met a stain yet it couldn't deal with!
Vanish tablets or powder - soak for a while then wash as normal. And yes hanging out in the sun does bleach stains too.
I definitely recommend the Vanish soap as well - I have had the same one for about ten years now, still going strong so great value for money. The vanish spray works as well
