I've already had an answer to this question but am still feeling stupid! You have your input set high but the next day have the output low as temperature is better than expected. An answerbank member has said they are just like normal radiators 'they cool down'. Mine don't they are still warm right up to next 'heating period' (because I haven't used all the previous nights' heat'). So is that remaining heat carried over, do they use less electricity 'charging' the next night because not all the stored heat from the night before has been used?
yours very confused and feeling dumb

Hi Jamie,
Since the storage heaters still have some heat lkeft in them, obviously they wont take as long to heat up to their full temperature. This being the case, the themostat will switch off power to the radiator, and therefore save you money.. Hope this helps.. Dave.
