I can empathise. We had a cat who bit through any thin cords - that included both the end tassels on a Chinese silk table runner and a corded mouse (twice). We are also currently rectifying the damage caused to our stripped Victorian doors by another feline offender.

In 1980 my puppy decided to have a good look inside a tall antique vase.  He got stuck

I was woken up by the noise of him bashing the vase and his head against a wall to get free.  

We had to get a neighbour to break the vase to get him out.  When our parents got home they were not very happy.

Enjoy living with Rudy, you are going to have fun with him over the years.

I've found a feeding game that kept him quiet for an hour whilst he ate dinner.

It's a good job we love these animals, eh?

I knew a rotweiler.  Softest thing out.  Used to enjoy the attention from the school kids waiting ouside his house for the bus - so much that he jumped the wall.  

He didn't realise that his side of the wall was higher than the other side!  Ouch!
