I'm a restless, fidgety sleeper and there seems to be a glut of sleep mattresses with very long no fuss trials. It seems Nectar is the best ?
However , most these sleep trial mattresses are rather expensive and i'm on a budget and it seems Jay -Be may be best option ? Or is it a false economy ? Anyone had a Jay -be mattress ? Or am i better off buying a used sleep trail one from charity shop like British Heart Foundation , who i have heard have lots?

in my experience (not that I've bought lots of mattresses), you get what you pay for; a cheap one might give you the night's sleep you're looking for, and last for years, but there's a greater chance that it won't. Good luck anyway.
This is what I did some time back, because I don't believe all the BS. Bought the cheapest mattress I could, from a cheapo place, then bought a bog standard 2 inch thick topper from Dunelm, it worked for me. The topper was only £80 at the time, think they be a bit dearer now.
If you fidget a memory foam may not be the best option for you.
Do you prefer a soft or firm mattress? I like the look of the Nectar Hybrid and I don't think £500 is expensive for a double mattress - I prefer pocket spring and pay a lot more than that.

The Dormeo memory foam mattresses seem cheap and have a 60 night trial - plenty long enough to know if it suits but the hybrid mattresses are more expenisve starting at £600 but consider this at £400 (half price)
