I have a Mira shower but the pressure is too strong for me. Can anyone recommend a shower head which will give a softer flow please.

I have one too and I love the power. Mine is old now, but I have a lever for the heat, and a wheel for the power so for me I just turn down the wheel to lower the power which I had to for a friend who was staying. Or I'm just thinking too - your shower head should have a "wheel" too which gives you strong or softer pressure. Have a look at the shower head you have.

It has a lever which only lets a small amount of water out. It still comes out very strong though. If I use a strong shower it makes me itch.
well the last shower head I bought - you can turn it and get whatever pressure you like. Bought it Home Bargains and it is easy to put on - just screw the old one off and same with shower head.
Does your shower head have a rotating feature which enables you to vary between a focused narrow jet and a wider gentler jet?
Atheist - that's what I asked her.
Question Author
It’s either full on or only a small jet which is also full on.
Our water board (Thames) offers free pressure-reducing valves; perhaps yours does too. Fit it yourself between the shower control and the hose.

I will look into that bhg. Thank you.
I just looked on Amazon and you can buy one cheaply if you cn't get one free. Have a look here:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=shower+pressure+reducer&;crid=1JSF3XCXC83CR&sprefix=shower+pressure+reducer%2Caps%2C61&;ref=nb_sb_noss_1

Ours is one like the ones costing around £6 or 7.
